Mechanical Seal
Components in a pump construction that function as a barrier or blocker for the entry and exit of fluids, be it process fluids or lubricants. Mechanical Seal is the primary sealing point. Made of Carbon material with a series of mixing techniques, or ceramic or Ni-resist, or Silicone Carbide or Tungsten Carbide. The combination of Mechanical Seals is divided into carbon versus silicone carbide, carbon vs ceramic, carbon vs tungsten carbide, silicone carbide vs silicone carbide, silicone carbide vs tungsten carbide.
O-Ring Seal
Round rubber that functions as a seal. The development of o-ring technology as a secondary sealing device produces various types of o-rings based on their materials. O-ring materials, there are natural rubber, EPDM, HNBR, Silicone, Viton (Fluorcarbon/FKM), PU (Polyurethanes), Kalrez, Isolast to Encapsulated O-Ring, where the o-ring is wrapped in PTFE. There are also those that are purely made of PTFE and are called Wedge.
